Isa Yamadaev refutes Kremlin's pressure in his reconciliation with Kadyrov

Isa, one of the brothers of Sulim Yamadaev, ex-commander of the "Vostok" battalion, who was killed in Dubai, has declared today that his reconciliation with President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov was a good-will gesture by Kadyrov, not based on any preconditions.

"I'm afflicted by certain publications in media, which pursue the aim to blacken the fact of reconciliation. I was revolted with comments of certain sources that reconciliation took place under the pressure of special services and the Kremlin. Ramzan Ahmatovich is a self-sufficient and respected leader of a federation subject, and he made his decision to meet me personally, as a godly deed in the sacred month of Ramadan," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Isa Yamadaev as saying.

He has noted that there was no pressure on him and members of his family from the government or any agencies. Besides, Mr Yamadaev has noted that he did not put forward any claims on return of the business to the family or rehabilitation of his brother Badruddin. Isa said that he did not know yet what his business would be in the future.

According to Isa Yamadaev, the murderers of his brother Ruslan Yamadaev "are under inquiry and in prison." "One of them is an arrant Wahhabite; the other is a drug addict. They have received what they deserved," he said.
