A man killed in a special operation in Dagestan had been in federal search

Naiib Nasirov killed during a special operation in Dagestan had been possibly involved in a series of murders of the personnel of law enforcement bodies and representatives of the authorities, National Anti-terror committee (NATC) reported.

According to the information from a reporter of "Caucasian Knot", during a storm of a house in Salikhov street of Makhachkala in a special operation going on today a man who put up armed resistance, identified as Naiib Nasirov, born in 1989, was killed.

NATC states that Nasirov "has been the organizer and a direct participant of an attempt at the head of one of municipalities of Dagestan", "Interfax" reports.

According to NATC, a man whose personality and possible involvement in the activities of armed underground are currently being clarified was detained during the same special operation.

It had been formerly reported that CTO (counter-terror operation) regime was established in the neighbourhood of Salikhov street and the personnel of anti-terrorist units were inspecting the area in search of gunmen.

CTO regime in the area of the special operation is still in force, RIA "Novosti" reports.
