Possibility of holding pre-term parliamentary elections being discussed in Georgia
Members of the pro-presidential For New Georgia bloc, which won the elections, according to the official data, admit a chance of carrying on a dialogue with the opposition on the issue of holding pre-term parliamentary elections provided that the new legislative corps elected on November 2 starts working.
"Pre-term elections may be a subject matter for discussion by the parliament elected on November 2 if this discussion becomes a basis for making a compromise with the opposition," Vakhtang Rcheulishvili, the vice speaker of the parliament and leader of the Socialist Party, which is in the pro-presidential For New Georgia bloc, told journalists on November 21.
