Officers of the Russian peacekeeping forces located in the area of the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict help them with it. Correspondents of ORT and NTV TV companies and of the Trud, Krasnaya Zvezda and Izvestiya newspapers are in the delegation. Representatives of Sukhumi authorities arrange special press-conferences for them. Vice President of the unrecognized republic Valery Arshba, Prime Minister Raul Khajimba and Chairman of the Parliament Nugzar Ashuba have already met with the Russian journalists. Besides, the Moscow journalists made a trip to the Gali district of Abkhazia. At the place they got acquainted with the activity of Russian peacekeepers in the area of the Georgian-Abkhazian administrative border. As it has become known from a reliable source in the governmental circles of Abkhazia, this action was taken on the initiative of the Abkhazian authorities and is aimed at reminding the Russian society on the threshold of the pre-term presidential election in Georgia of the Abkhazian authorities' pro-Russian orientation.
