Investigators reveal signs of struggle in case of murder of Avetisyan family members

According to an examination, a son and a father of the Avetisyan family were not in beds at the time of Valery Permyakov's attack.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from December 2015, the trial in the case against Valery Permyakov is being held in the territory of the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri. On March 11, the court announced the completion of questioning of witnesses and began to study the case materials.

Valery Permyakov, a soldier of the Russian military base, is accused of killing seven Avetisyan family members at night of January 12, 2015. He had already been sentenced by a Russian court to 10 years of imprisonment on charges of desertion, theft, and illegal possession of weapons.

According to the results of the examination, at the time of the incident in the Avetisyan house, men tried to defend themselves. In particular, Armen Avetisyan was standing at the time of his murder, and Seryozha Avetisyan, the family head, grabbed a submachine gun.

Besides, the examination found traces of Valery Permyakov on all rounds, including used rounds and rounds remaining in the magazine of the sub machine gun. According to experts, the above fact proves that the murder was committed by Valery Permyakov, who personally charged the sub machine gun.

The examination results should be compared with the testimony given by Valery Permyakov, as well as with the results of the investigative experiment, which was conducted by the Russian side at the 102nd military base, Judge Arutyun Movsisyan states.
