Azerbaijan states machine-gun shelling of seven villages

During the last 24 hours, the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone for 95 times by using, among other weapons, heavy machine guns. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan.

Let us remind you that on April 2-5, 2016, there was an aggravation of the conflict, after which the parties announced a truce. During the second year of the truce, 43 people perished, including two civilians.

The risk of another aggravation of the conflict persists, the military experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" believe. Residents of the frontline villages would not leave their homes, despite the fear and bombardments.

Earlier, on April 2, residents of Nagorno-Karabakh visited the graves of the soldiers who perished during the April war to pay tribute to them and lay flowers.
