Dagestani MPH warns about need for vaccination before Hajj

Vaccination against coronavirus is mandatory for those who intend to make Hajj in 2021, the Ministry of Public Health (MPH) of Dagestan has announced. Restrictions for users without vaccination make its voluntary nature senseless, Instagram users have noted.

"Vaccine against COVID-19 is mandatory for those who wish to make Hajj, and will be one of the main preconditions for obtaining a permit to travel," the Dagestan MPH stated on March 5 on its Instagram.

The restrictions for non-vaccinated users make its voluntary character senseless, the user alishkina_madina has stressed. "Why then is vaccination voluntary?" she asked. "It's forced voluntarily," the user usufmagomedov941 has replied.

The user fatima __.__.__.__ fears side effects of vaccination. "There are many side effects from vaccination, while Islam forbids harming one's health," she has stressed.
