Observers link nervous breakdowns of election commission members in Kuban with violations at voting

Two chairpersons of the precinct election commissions (PECs) in the Kuschevsky District felt bad after being pointed out to violations and possible falsifications during voting and vote tabulation, observers have informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported, citing Alexei Chernenko, the chair of the territorial election Commission (TEC), that in the Krasnodar Territory (also known as Kuban by the name of the main river), excessive pressure on commission members, insults and unjustified criticism resulted in hospitalization of several commission members with a nervous breakdown. Observers from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and "Yabloko" Party have reported frauds at the visiting voting in the region.

A video appeared on the Internet in which a woman lies on the floor at a polling station. Earlier, there was an observer's conflict with commission members. The man tore a sheaf of PEC's documents, and when they were about to return them, the police were called to the station. After that, the commission chairperson felt bad, and they had to call an ambulance, the "Kuban" GTRK (State TV and Radio Company) has reported.

Grigory Rusin, a member of the election commission from the "Yabloko" Party, said that a woman snatched from him applications for voting outside the station (travel or visiting voting). In the papers, Rusin saw voters' signatures, clearly made with one hand. After that, the woman fell to the floor, and an ambulance was called to her, while the police took Rusin out of the station.

Alexander Korovainy, a candidate for the State Duma from the "Yabloko" Party, did not rule out that PEC members got nervous during the vote rigging.

"But after I saw how they massively violate the law and neglect citizens' will, I feel no sorry for these people ... By their actions they are killing the future of our country," he has stated.
