Milana Aguzarova wins a prize in France for her role in film “Unclenching the Fists”

At the Angers-based film festival, Milana Aguzarova won a prize as the best actress for her role in the film “Unclenching the Fists”, filmed in the Ossetian language.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the film “Unclenching the Fists”, filmed in North Ossetia by Kira Kovalenko, a director from Kabardino-Balkaria and a graduate of the Alexander Sokurov’s school, won the Grand Prix of the “Un Certain Regard” author’s film contest at the 74th Cannes Film Festival. In October 2021, the Russian Federation nominated the film “Unclenching the Fists” for an Oscar.

Today, producer Alexander Rodnyansky has announced on his Instagram page that at the international film festival in Angers in France, the prize for best actress was won by Milana Aguzarova for her role in the film “Unclenching the Fists”.

According to the information on the film festival website, the Angers-based film festival was held from January 24 to 30, and Milana Aguzarova was recognized as the best actress in the main contest.
