Pashinyan's opponents hold three marches in Yerevan

On April 27, in the capital of Armenia, the opposition held three parallel marches with a demand of the government's resignation.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the second day of street protests ended on April 26 with a march of opposition supporters and blocked roads in the centre of Yerevan. On April 27, opposition protests demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continued, and the police reported about 52 detainees in Yerevan.

One of the opposition marches started from Garegin Nzhde Square in Yerevan. The organizers unfolded a banner with the motto of the protest movement "Lao, wake up!" The marchers carried flags of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. They chanted "Armenia without Nikol", "Nikol is a traitor", "Struggle" and "We are masters of the Motherland".

Two other marches were held in Yerevan at the same time. One of them was led by Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the "Fatherland" Party. His supporters marched along the route Freedom Square-Mashtots Avenue-Paronyan Street-Proshyan Street-Demirchyan Street-Bagramyan Avenue-Freedom Square. Another march to Freedom Square from the Achpnyak micro-district was organized by the "5165" Party, whose supporters unfolded a 40-meter-long flag of Nagorno-Karabakh.

No incidents were fixed during the above actions of the opposition.
