Social media users ironize Kadyrov’s award for his contribution to dentistry

Ramzan Kadyrov announced that he was awarded the Order of Merit for Dentistry. Users of the “VKontakte” social media outlet wonder what kind of merits helped the leader of Chechnya to receive the award.

Ramzan Kadyrov received the award of the Dental Association of the Russian Federation at the opening of a new building of a dental clinic in Grozny. The leader of Chechnya himself reported about his award on the “VKontakte”. According to Ramzan Kadyrov, he was awarded “for contribution to the development of the dental service in Chechnya.”

In their comments, most social media users approved the opening of the new dental clinic and the awarding of the leader of the republic, but some users expressed their irony. “Honorary Dentist of the Chechen Republic. His specialization is tooth extraction without anaesthesia,” user Grzegorz Sz wrote.

This is not the first award for Ramzan Kadyrov’s contribution to the development of medicine. Earlier, he was awarded the Order of Avicenna “for many years of contribution to the development of healthcare and medical sciences,” Chechen Minister for Public Health Elkhan Suleimanov reported on September 11, 2021.
