In Chechnya, three frontier guards lost in militants' attack on motor column
Three frontier guards were killed and five more wounded in the Urus-Martan District of Chechnya, where militants attacked a motor column of the FSB Department.
The attack was made today at 11:45 a.m. Moscow time in the vicinity of Chishki village of the Urus-Martan District. The column moved to the place of its combat mission.
Reserve units were sent to the incident area from the Frontier Department of the Russian FSB (Federal Security Bureau) and from the motorized rifle regiment, deployed in the Novye Atagi village, as well as two Mi-24 helicopters from the FSB air forces, the "Interfax" informs.
The response fire of the reserve units and FSB aviation scattered the militants; currently, they are chased, the ITAR-TASS reports.
