Prisoner stops his hunger strike in Azerbaijan
Colonel Alizade Guseinov, head of the Gobustan Closed Prison, has informed that life prisoner Mekhman Muradov, who is kept in this prison, has stopped his hunger strike.
The ARA Agency reports that Mr Guseinov has confirmed that not long ago the inmate had sewn up his mouth and started a hunger strike, but has noted that currently the protest action is stopped. The fact of Muradov sewing up his mouth was also reported by the Committee of Relatives of Life Prisoners of Azerbaijan.
We remind you that on October 16 the "Caucasian Knot" reported that Mekhman Muradov, a life prisoner of the Gobustan Closed Prison of Azerbaijan sewn up his mouth and started a hunger strike. The same Agency later informed that Muradov had undertaken the action in protest against installing a radiation-emitting device in the prison intended to suppress the use of mobile phones.
