Ingushetian public demand that Ingushetia.Ru continue

Representatives of the public of Ingushetia are going to visit Yakhya Evloev, father of Magomed Evloev, and ask him not to stop the web portal Ingushetia.Ru.

Leaders of NGOs of Ingushetia, deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Ingushetia, journalists and representatives of the public left for the city of Malgobek, where they are going to visit Magomed Evloev. Members of NGOs, who initiated the visit, have informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the aim of their trip was to talk to Magomed's father in connection with his order to his son to close the portal. They want to reverse the situation.

After the recent visit to Yakhya Evloev of representatives of the power, elders-namesakes and deputies of the National Assembly of Ingushetia, father asked the son to close the portal. Under Ingush customs, Magomed cannot disobey his father and is going to follow the latter's will and close the Ingushetia.Ru.

Human rights activists assert that "this website has national value. ...We have no more information resources of this sort. None of the official mass media is writing about murdered and kidnapped Ingushes, while the Ingushetia.Ru has always been operatively presenting such information, sometimes even helping to save lives to people."
