Militia lieutenant wounded in Ingushetia

On August 26 in the evening, in Sunzha District of Ingushetia, five unknown persons in masks, armed with automatic firearms, rushed into the house of a militia lieutenant, where he lived with his family, and wounded him from a pistol.

The headquarters of the temporary army grouping has reported that "bandits in masks beat the officer, wounded his shoulder from a traumatic pistol and took away all the money and jewellery."

According to the headquarters' spokesman, the sum of the total damage, caused by the armed attack of the criminals on the lieutenant's house, made more than 300 thousand roubles. Now, the attackers are searched.

Let us remind that some time earlier, on that very day and in the same district of the republic, when an "Ural" truck with militiamen moved along a country road, unidentified persons triggered a bomb. Two OMON fighters were wounded.

The "Interfax" reports that according to preliminary data, the militia lieutenant, whose house was attacked, is also an amateur-boxer.
