Policeman shot dead in Ingushetia

A shootout occurred in the city of Magas among law enforcers: one person was killed and four others, including two policemen, were wounded.

"Around 2:00 p.m. Moscow time, in an apartment in a multi-storey building, relatives of husband and wife gathered to help them to divide the apartment. A quarrel broke out, which escalated into a gunfight with the use of the service and traumatic firearms," said a law enforcement source from Ingushetia.

According to his story, narrated by the "Interfax", a police captain was shot dead; four others residents of Ingushetia were wounded.

The condition of one of the wounded persons is extremely grave. "He underwent a surgery and is in the intensive care unit. The lives of the remaining three wounded patients are out of danger," the TASS quotes its source from the Ingush Republic's Hospital.
