Persons killed in Tsotsi-Yurt named
As stated by the head of the Chechen MIA, in the shootout with power agents that broke out in the village of Tsotsi-Yurt on January 11, the following residents of Chechnya were killed: Umar Ozdiev, Raibek Idrisov, Alikhan Kupchiev and Uzum-Khadji Madaev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 11, residents of Tsotsi-Yurt reported an armed clash in the village. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, stated that four militants were killed there. Today the "Rosgvardiya" has reported its two dead soldiers. According to a source from the Chechen MIA, one of the suspected militants managed to escape. Today, power agents resumed his search.
According to Ruslan Alkhanov, the head of the Chechen MIA, those killed in Tsotsi-Yurt were Umar Ozdiev, born in 1992, and Raibek Idrisov, born in 1988, both residents of the city of Shali; Alikhan Kupchiev,, born in 1984, a native of the village of Germenchuk, Shali District; and Uzum-Khadji Madaev, born in 1980, a resident of the village of Kurchaloi, who in May 2004 was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison for committing a number of grave and especially grave crimes, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
"It's already known that they were closely linked with the IS, a terrorist organization banned in Russia. Besides, one of the bandits was detained," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Minister Alkhanov with reference to the press service of the Chechen MIA.
