Participants of rally in Rostov-on-Don demand to stop destructing memorial on Nemtsov Bridge

Today, in Rostov-on-Don, activists gathered for a rally in memory of politician Boris Nemtsov. They adopted a resolution with the demand to identify persons who ordered the murder of the politician and bring them to justice.

Today, in Rostov-on-Don, the action in memory of Boris Nemtsov was held at the monument to victims of political repression in Stroiteley Park. Participants of the rally came to the event with flags of the "Open Russia" and "Yabloko" Parties. Besides, they were holding pictures of Boris Nemtsov. According to organizers, the action gathered about 100 people.

"Boris Nemtsov was killed two years ago. However, until present, no customers and no organizers of the crime were identified. And there is no monument to Boris Nemtsov, neither in bronze nor in marble, and there is no street named after him. However, there is a miraculous monument, represented by those books that he prepared and for which he collected the material, and which he published," civil activist Lydia Olshanskaya emphasized at the action.

In the resolution of the rally, the participants appealed to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) with a request to take all necessary steps for the complete solution of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, for identification and detention of the organizers of the murder. The participants of the rally also demanded to bring the organizers of the murder to criminal responsibility and to "stop the barbaric destruction of the memorial on NemtsovBridge."
