In Chechnya, law enforcers identify organizer of March attack on National Guard of Russia

An attack on the unit of the National Guard of Russia in the regional centre of Naurskaya in the north of Chechnya was organized by local resident Ali Bakaev. He was put on the international wanted list. This was reported by the law enforcement agencies of the ChechenRepublic. The investigation into the attack on the National Guard of Russia in Chechnya was led by Colonel Igor Sobol, the "Kommersant" reports today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night of March 24, a checkpoint of the National Guard of Russia in the village of Naurskaya was attacked, and the terrorist organization "Islamic State", banned in Russia by the court, claimed the responsibility for the attack. In the course of the attack, six soldiers were killed and three others were injured. Besides, six attackers were killed.

According to the investigators, the attack was organized by local resident Ali Bakaev, a source from the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports today.

"The offender left the country yet on March 21. At present, he presumably stays in Egypt, and he is put on the international wanted list," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by the source.
