Dagestan warns relatives of children in Baghdad orphanage from taking own actions
Relatives of children from Dagestan, taken by their parents to Iraq to the territories controlled by militants, should not make attempts to take them by themselves, but they should appeal for help to the Russian authorities. This was stated by the authorities of Dagestan. A member of the Chechen Diaspora in Jordan has noted that Iraq is willing to cooperate in transfer of children to their homeland when they receive an appropriate request from Dagestan.
The authorities of Russia make efforts to return 48 children, taken to Syria and Iraq by their parents who joined terrorists.
In an interview "Journey to the Islamic State and back", a former militant told the "Caucasian Knot" that supporters of radical organizations brought their family members to Syria and Iraq. According to a native of Dagestan, militants' family members experience great financial difficulties there.
