In Chechnya, two soldiers injured by grenade explosion

Soldiers were injured while they were examining a mined dugout arranged by militants. There are no threats to the injured soldiers' lives, reported a source from the law enforcement agencies of Chechnya.

On November 1, in the forest near the village of Yandi in the Achkhoi-Martan District, a reconnaissance unit of the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) found an abandoned dugout of militants. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a source from the law enforcement agencies.

"When soldiers made an attempt to examine the dugout, a manual grenade exploded. As a result, a lieutenant, a commander in the unit, and his deputy, a sergeant of the contract service, got grenade fragment wounds," said the source.
