Ingushetia and Chechnya are Russia's leaders in unemployment rate
As of November 1, the highest unemployment level is fixed in Ingushetia, where every tenth citizen is jobless.
According to the "Rosstat" (Russian Federal Statistics Agency), by the beginning of November, the number of registered unemployed persons in Ingushetia was 23,096, or 10% of the able-bodied population. Chechnya has 56,648 jobless persons, or 9.1% of the capable population.
In all other Russian regions, the unemployment rate does not exceed 3.3%, with an average figure of 0.9% for the country, the website of the Federal Service for Labour and Employment reported on November 9.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that on April 19, Ramzan Kadyrov, at his meeting with Vladimir Putin, declared the unemployment rate at 9.2% in Chechnya. This figure is contrary to the "Rosstat" one, which fixed the rate of 14.3% in Chechnya in March.
