500 Russian soldiers and officers conduct military exercises in Armenia

In Armenia, artillerists of the Russian military base have conducted military exercises to destroy a manoeuvre enemy.

According to the press service for the Southern Military District, the military exercises were held jointly with air defence and aviation units. The artillerists destroyed objects and targets of the manoeuvre enemy, the TASS reports.

About 500 soldiers and officers and more than 70 pieces of equipment were involved in the military exercises.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 23, the press service for the Southern Military District announced the start of the military exercises in the regions of Southern Russia, as well as at the Russian bases located in Armenia, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia.
