Armenian military wounded on Azerbaijani border

A contract soldier was wounded in the Tavush District of Armenia. He was hospitalized at night of October 2.

"The soldier has fragmental gunshot wounds to his shoulder," the "Tert.am" News Agency quotes Garunik Guschyan, the director of the Noyemberyan Medical Centre.

The patient is in stable condition, the "Sputnik-Armenia" reports, adding that he was wounded in the Tavush section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that the State Frontier Service (SFS) of Azerbaijan has informed about an attack of saboteurs and a shelling attack on border positions, including from large-calibre firearms. The Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) denied the allegations, treating the above statement as disinformation.
