Kadyrov's press service reacts to plot reports

Today, Alvi Karimov, the press secretary for the head of Chechnya, has neither confirmed nor denied the reports on an attempted assassination on Ramzan Kadyrov, having refused to comment on "rumours".

The information about an attempt to poison Ramzan Kadyrov was posted today in the Telegram-channel "SKFO Telegraph" (SKFO means North-Caucasian Federal District, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), which reported that two former mayors of Chechen cities and a high-ranking law enforcement official are suspected of preparing the assassination attempt.

According to the Telegram-channel, the law enforcer was detained for questioning; and detentions were also undertaken in his home village in the Urus-Martan District.

So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no confirmation and cannot verify the information posted by the anonymous Telegram channel "SKFO Telegraph".
