Chechen residents report about schedules for compulsory attendance of "Akhmat" matches
Students and public sector employees who were obliged to attend a match of the Grozny football team complained of a cold at the "Akhmat Arena". On October 30, the match between the "Akhmat" FC team and football players from Vladikavkaz ended with a score of 5:1.
Local public sector employees complained about being obliged to attend the football match. Attendance of football matches is only one of the obligatory events for public sector employees, Akhmad said. "We cannot ignore matches and other events, since our managers have a serious argument: if you don't want to attend the events, quit," the man said.
According to Akhmad, in October, he and his colleagues had to visit the "Akhmat Arena" twice, as well as participate in the celebration of the City Day and a subbotnik (voluntary cleaning works on Saturdays).
Students were also obliged to attend the football match.
The "Caucasian Knot" has repeatedly reported that in Grozny, students and public sector employees were obliged to attend football matches and other events. This is a violation of human rights, to which the federal centre does not respond due to the special status of Ramzan Kadyrov and his good relations with President Vladimir Putin, a Chechen political analyst believes.
