Police got interested in threats to Vladikavkaz students because of dance

The girl-performer of the resonance dance in Vladikavkaz complained of threats received from people, who had forced her to apologize publicly; after which the police began a check.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that an African student and a girl had apologized publicly for their dance in Vladikavkaz, which locals considered indecent.

Unknown young people have repeatedly forced the girl to publicly apologize for her dance performed during the celebration of the Students' Day on January 25.

The girl said that she intended to write an application to the police, because the young people threatened her with execution, if she did not apologize. "I didn't want to offend anyone with this dance; it just so happened. But yesterday (on January 26), three strangers approached me and scared me. They said that if I fail to apologize publicly, then I'd face big problems. Then they forced me to stand in front of the camera and apologize. I was scared and confused," said the girl, whose words are quoted by the "Ossetia.news".

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of North Ossetia has announced a start of a check of the fact of threats and the persecution of the dancers, whose video clip caused a great resonance in the republic.
