Harsh phrases become Kadyrov's blunder in dispute with Russian Prime Minister

When entering a dispute with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Ramzan Kadyrov has demonstrated his claim to be the Chechen leader. However, he has not taken into account that the chairman of the Russian government enjoys the full confidence of President Vladimir Putin, political analysts explain.

On April 6, Mikhail Mishustin gave reproof to the governors, who introduced a ban on leaving and entering their regions, and advised them "not to confuse regional powers with federal ones." Ramzan Kadyrov responded by saying that if it was about Chechnya, then Mikhail Mishustin was misled. The leader of Chechnya has violated the subordination by answering to the Russian Prime Minister's remark too harshly, and he faces a risk to make new ill-wishers, political analysts note.

Conflictologist Yuri Yefimov does not think that Ramzan Kadyrov's phrases should be regarded as criticism of Mikhail Mishustin.

Ramzan Kadyrov should be careful in his speeches addressed to Mikhail Mishustin, believes political analyst Alexei Malashenko. According to him, the phrases voiced by Ramzan Kadyrov can irritate Mikhail Mishustin, but the Russian Prime Minister will not show his irritation.

The federal centre did not like Ramzan Kadyrov's demonstrated independence, suggested Ruslan Kutaev, the president of the Assembly of Caucasian Nations. If necessary, Mikhail Mishustin may openly criticize Ramzan Kadyrov, Ruslan Kutaev believes.
