Instagram users demand to make public data on Ramzan Kadyrov's health state

Akhmed Dudaev, the assistant to the leader of Chechnya, responded to reports about alleged hospitalization of Ramzan Kadyrov because of the suspected coronavirus infection. However, Akhmed Dudaev did not refute the rumours. Some social network users considered the above fact an alarming sign and demanded to make public the information about the health state of the Chechen leader.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 21, a source reported that Ramzan Kadyrov was under medical supervision because of the suspected coronavirus infection.

The leader of Chechnya personally supervises the activities of the operational headquarters to combat the spread of the coronavirus infection, reports Akhmed Dudaev, the assistant to the leader of the Chechen Republic.

In some comments, Instagram users wrote that the statement voiced by Akhmed Dudaev was unconvincing. Many social network users also expressed their mistrust towards the version about the alleged hospitalization of the Chechen leader and claimed it had been disseminated by "ill-wishers."

For several days, local TV Channels do not broadcast news with participation of Ramzan Kadyrov, although earlier, the leader of Chechnya used to regularly appear in TV reports.

A post reporting that Ramzan Kadyrov was brought by plane to Moscow with the suspicion of the coronavirus infection was left in the public account "ChP Kavkaz" on Instagram. In their comments, most social network users wished the leader of Chechnya soon recovery if he was ill.

The Chechen authorities do not refute reports about the alleged infection of Ramzan Kadyrov, said Salavdi, a local resident. "It is natural that the lack of refutation enhances the suspicion that Ramzan Kadyrov has some problems," the man noted.
