Attack on law enforcers in Galashki is this year's sixth incident in Ingushetia
The shelling of law enforcers in the village of Galashki, Sunzha District, was preceded by five similar incidents in Ingushetia since the start of the year.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on August 17, in the forest near the village of Galashki, Sunzha District of Ingushetia, law enforcers found a hideout with ammunition, after which they were shelled.
According to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", the shelling of law enforcers near the village of Galashki was preceded by five attacks on law enforcers committed since the beginning of 2020 in Ingushetia.
Thus, on August 13, in the village of Surkhakhi, Nazran District of Ingushetia, the car of a local resident was shelled; he died on the spot, and his mother and wife were wounded.
On July 28, in the village of Yandare, Nazran District, a law enforcer was fatally wounded after his car came under fire.
A similar incident occurred on June 27 in Surkhakhi: unidentified persons opened fire at a car; two persons were hospitalized, one of them was a law enforcer.
On March 13, a shootout broke out in the village of Ekazhevo; one person was killed and another was kidnapped. Also, when trying to stop the conflict, two policemen suffered. A law enforcement source said that the shootout stemmed from a conflict of two teips (family clans).
On February 14, in the village of Plievo, a local resident opened fire on the law enforcers who were conducting a search as part of the special operation. The shooter turned out to be Yunus Vidzizhev, a participant in protests against the change in the Ingush-Chechen border, sources have noted.
