About 700 refugees returned to Nagorno-Karabakh over a day

Russian peacekeepers escorted a convoy of 16 buses with refugees to Stepanakert. The people decided to return home after the cessation of the hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that by the agreement signed on November 10 between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, Russian military observer posts were arranged along the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh and along the Lachin corridor passing through Berdzor. At present, the Lachin corridor is the only road that connects Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. After the announcement of the truce, civilians began to return to Nagorno-Karabakh. During 24 hours from November 24 to 25, 2000 people returned from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh with the assistance of the Russian peacekeepers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has drafted a map to show the territories that will pass over to Azerbaijan after the autumn war. Also, the "Caucasian Knot" has published a deployment map of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.

On November 25, the Russian peacekeepers escorted another convoy of buses with refugees to Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported on its official website.

According to the Russian MoD, 16 buses with 680 IDPs arrived from Yerevan to the main square of Stepanakert.
