Relatives of wounded Chechen law enforcer declare enmity with two Ingush clans
Members of the Chechen teip (family clan) Ersno, to whom the policeman wounded in Grozny belongs, have announced that they are in a quarrel with the Timurziev and Sultygov teips from Ingushetia. The Ramzan Kadyrov's teip, Beno, has voiced out threats against these Ingush teips.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that relatives of Magomed Djabrailov, the policeman, who was killed in Grozny on December 28, had announced a blood feud against relatives of the two natives of Ingushetia, who attacked the policemen.
Relatives of the wounded policeman have also recorded a video appeal to the teips of Timurziev and Sultygov, the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, said on his Telegram, stressing that relatives of the wounded policeman did not announce a blood feud against the two above Ingush teips.
On December 31, a video message was posted on the Instagram by Magomed Khanbiev, a Chechen MP, who presented himself as a member of the Chechen teip of Beno. He criticized the author of the video message by the Ingush teips, and treated the killed Khasan and Khusein Timurziev as "two shaitans."
The readers of the public Eldit_net have called on the parties to reconcile. "It's very painful to see how two fraternal nations are being forced to play off each other," the user alp9490 has noted.
The attack on the policemen in Grozny was at least the seventh stabbing attack on law enforcers in Chechnya, Ingushetia and Kabardino-Balkaria in three years. Most of the attackers were declared to be natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia.
