Djabiev's widow appeals for support to former South-Ossetian presidents

Oksana Sotieva, Inal Djabiev's widow, has asked the ex-presidents of South Ossetia to support the demand to investigate his death.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Oksana Sotieva had headed the movement to defend the rights of residents of South Ossetia. The activists of the association intend to seek a fair inquiry into Djabiev's death, as well as the restoration of the rule of law in the region.

Ms Sotieva's appeal to mediators of the political crisis in South Ossetia was posted in the Instagram page chp_tskhinval.

"I decided to appeal to the mediators who had volunteered to resolve the critical situation in our country, the two ex-presidents of South Ossetia - Ludvig Chibirov and Leonid Tibilov ... All those guilty, regardless of their past merits and current positions, should be justly punished," says the appeal.

Activists have urged the politicians to support their demands.

Some Instagram users have doubted the prospects of the movement in defence of the rights of South-Ossetian residents, headed by Oksana Sotieva.
