Protesters against quarantine measures stage concert in Tbilisi

Animators, employees of entertainment and fitness centres, and ski resorts have demanded to cancel restrictions related to coronavirus. They staged a street concert on the steps of the Georgian Parliament.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since February 1, Georgian authorities began gradually removing restrictions related to COVID-19. Protesters believe the government is doing it too slowly.

On February 6, employees of fitness centres and ski resorts, animators and cultural workers organized a performance action in Tbilisi. They insist on lifting the restrictions.

The action will continue until protesters' demands are met, one of the activists, Gega Salukvadze, has stated.

In a video posted on the YouTube channel of the "Sputnik-Georgia" edition, protesters are holding a concert right on the steps of the Georgian Parliament. While some of them are performing, other protesters are standing with posters.
