Authorities of Kulinsky District report death of officer in Ukraine

Lieutenant Colonel Dibir Dibirov from the village of Tsovkra-2 have perished in Ukraine, the district administration has informed. Since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least 85 natives of Dagestan have been officially confirmed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier Lieutenant Mail Razakov from the Rutulsky District perished in Ukraine.

Dibir Dibirov served in one of the military units as a battalion commander. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, says the Telegram channel of the district administration.

Dibirov was 38 years old; he left behind his wife and three daughters. Shamil Ramazanov, the head of the Kulinsky District, has expressed his condolences to the officer's relatives and friends.

The funeral of Dibirov was held with military honours; many military servicemen and his fellow countrymen were present.
