In Quarter 1 of 2022, no victims were registered during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In the period from January 1 to March 31, 2022, during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus there were no reports about any victims. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

Since 2009, for the entire period of running the statistics of victims by the "Caucasian Knot", this is the first quarter in which not a single victim of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus was registered.

This statistics cannot present the count of victims with 100-percent accuracy. Not all the data gets into news bulletins. It is not always possible to verify the statements of law enforcement bodies; and new data on the events that occurred in the reporting period sometimes become known after the publication of another portion of statistics by the "Caucasian Knot".

Earlier, in Quarter 4 of 2021, at least two people fell victim to the conflict in Northern Caucasus. Both of them were killed in Karachay-Cherkessia as the persons linked with militants. And in Quarter 1 of 2021, at least 19 people fell victim thereto, including 8 killed ones, one perished and 10 wounded persons.
