Sources report about clash between local residents on Dagestani-Chechen border
More than a hundred young people gathered at night on the border between Dagestan and Chechnya after a domestic conflict between two persons, and the situation required the intervention of the police, sources reported.
A conflict situation arose near the village of Tukhchar in the Novolaksky District, blogger Rasul Asad reported in his Telegram channel “Ask Rasul”.
According to the source, more than a hundred young people from neighbouring villages gathered “because of a domestic conflict between two guys.” Officials representing the authorities of the Novolaksky District and the police left for the place. The people dispersed after an explanatory conversation.
A reader of the “Caucasian Knot”, user ying.simonis, drew attention to reports of the incident. “Last evening and at night, there was a large gathering of local residents in the village of Tukhchar in the Novolaksky District, on the border between the two republics. It all started with some kind of domestic conflict between young people of Dagestani and Chechen nationalities,” wrote the reader of the “Caucasian Knot”.
