Resident of Ingushetia fined for discrediting Russian Army

A court in the city of Magas (the capital of Ingushetia) has found Nazir Tsechoev's posts on the Telegram as discrediting the Russian Army and imposed a fine on him.

It follows from the verdict posted in the court's website, Tsechoev had already been found guilty under an administrative article about discrediting the Russian Army.

The reason for the criminal charges was in Tsechoev's posts placed on the Telegram, in which ridiculed the armament level of the Russian Army and the actions of Russian militaries, including the command thereof; he also provided data on losses during the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine. Tsechoev admitted his guilt and repented. The court sentenced him to a fine of 250,000 roubles and confiscated his mobile phone.
