Blogger from Kuban apologizes to Christians for incorrect wordings

An Islamic blogger from Ust-Labinsk was fined by 15,000 roubles and arrested for two weeks for inciting hatred and enmity, and for disobeying the police. He has stated that in his channel he made an unfortunate statement about Christianity and the belonging of Adyg lands, and apologized.

According to the Krasnodar Territorial Branch of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), operative agents found a "video aimed at inciting hatred and enmity" in a social network. They established the identity of the author, who runs an online channel and "has a large number of subscribers."

In the video, the 21-year-old resident of Ust-Labinsk reports that he has a channel on the YouTube, where he "shares his statements about the religious teachings of Islam." "Unfortunately, I made an unfortunate statement about Christianity and the belonging of the Adyg lands," he has stated.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 23, Mansur Zhabrailov, a teacher, was detained for offensive statements about Christians in social networks; and he was also fired. On October 8, he admitted that he was wrong to insult Christianity and apologized.
