Nikolai Tsomartov, father of missing athlete, complains about bullying
Telegram channels are spreading defamatory information about the family of Anna Tsomartova, a missing athlete from North Ossetia; the check of this fact has been ongoing for the second month, Anna's father has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 18, it became known that the Sovietsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don refused to reinstate Nikolai Tsomartov in the service at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), treating his statements about the inquiry into his daughter's disappearance as criticism of the MIA. On December 14, Tsomartova's mother complained that she was threatened with dismissal from the MIA for criticizing law enforcement bodies due to the inefficient inquiry into her daughter's disappearance.
After Anna's case was transferred from Dagestan to Moscow, there was no progress in the inquiry into her disappearance in Kaspiysk, the girl's father has stated.
According to his story, his lawsuit for reinstatement at the MIA was rejected by the judge due to the prosecutor's opinion.
The family is being harassed by some Telegram channels, Nikolai Tsomartov has added. "They have reached the point where they are now accusing us of extremism and terrorism," he said. The threatening people demand that the Tsomartovs "leave aside" one of the Dagestani MIA employees.
Let us remind you that the search for Anna Tsomartova has been ongoing since February 12, 2024. She disappeared in Kaspiysk after she lost a tournament and was in a depressed state. Investigators have opened a murder case, and the abduction version is also being considered.
