Activists have sent more than 5000 signatures in signature sheets and 2000 electronic signatures demanding to hold an investigation into Seda Suleimanova's case to the Russian Presidential Administration.
During the campaign to collect signatures with the above demand, more than 5000 physical signatures were collected in more than 20 cities in Russia (and in several countries abroad) and more than 2000 signatures were collected electronically through the website, Elena Patyaeva, one of Seda’s friends, reported on May 12 in the Telegram channel "Where is Seda?".
Before the signatures were delivered to the Presidential Administration, those wishing to support the appeal could sign it at the Kitay-Gorod metro station in Moscow, Elena has reported today, adding that policemen approached her. "There are no problems with the police. Two policemen approached us, took a photo of my passport, asked "not to commit violations" and said that if we had any problems, we would address them; and they will help. In general, everything was polite and calm," Ms Patyaeva has commented. It follows from the photos attached to the report, more than 10 people came up to the Presidential Administration, some of them were signing the appeal.
Activists have handed over the signatures to the Presidential Administration demanding an investigation into the case of Seda Suleimanova, who went missing after being abducted by her relatives, the “Floor to Defence” project has reported.
