Residents of Geydarabad (Azerbaijan) state they undergo firing from Armenian direction
People from the village of Geydarabad, which is situated near the Armenian border in the Nikhichevan Autonomous Republic, claim that they had been systematically fired from the direction of Armenia for the last week.
A group of Azerbaijan journalists visited the village at the instance of local residents. They saw there that house roofs are riddled with bullets, some bullets hit administrative buildings of the village. But the meeting with residents was interrupted by regional executive authority representatives, which stated there were not any firings.
The press-cutting service of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry reported there is no information on the firing of Geydarabad.
