Power engineers hold mass raids against debtors in Chechnya

In the Naur District of Chechnya, 63 regular defaulters were disconnected from power supply. During the raids, other 936 customers paid their debts, the "Chechenenergo" reports.

In the first quarter of 2018, more than 1000 customers who owed more than 5.6 million roubles were included in the lists for disconnection of power supply, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by the "Chechenenergo".

"During the raids, a lot of explanatory conversations were held and thus the company achieved repayment of the debts in the amount of 4,569,000 roubles," reported Maryam, an employee of the "Chechenenergo".

According to local resident Usam, the raids of power engineers have been going on for several days already.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in November 2017, the "Chechenenergo" held similar raids in the Gudermes District. Then 1116 debtors were cut off from power supply.
