CTO legal regime introduced in city of Chegem in Kabardino-Balkaria

Law enforcers started a search for militants in Chegem, where the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced, the FSB Department for Kabardino-Balkaria reported.

Entry into the city and exit from it are restricted. According to the preliminary information, members of an illegal armed formation (IAF) are hiding in a private house on the territory of Chegem. According to the FSB, the militants are plotting a terror act, the TASS reports with reference to the operational headquarters.
