Svetlana Anokhina turns to police because of death threats

Svetlana Anokhina, a Dagestani journalist, has received threats from some unknown person who referred to "instructions to deal with feminists." Before that, Ms Anokhina had announced the creation of a group for emergency help to women-victims of domestic violence.

On July 22, an unidentified man called Svetlana Anokhina, the editor of the "Daptar" magazine. She recorded the conversation and posted it on the Facebook.

The caller said that he had received "instructions to deal with all feminists." Svetlana Anokhina invited him to meet at the building of the Sovietsky District Police Division in Makhachkala, to which the man said that he was ready to kill her right at the police station.

According to the journalist, the record of the conversation has already been handed over to the investigator along with the caller's phone number.

The day before receiving the threatening call, Svetlana Anokhina announced in her Facebook page the creation of an emergency group to help women-victims of domestic violence.
