Close people of Sofia Angel-Barokko report worsening of her health condition at SIZO

Despite deterioration of her health condition and absence of due medical treatment, the blogger from Maykop, Sofia Angel-Barokko, accused of insulting believers' feelings and justifying terrorism, remains at the SIZO (pre-trial prison), her relatives and friends have reported. Her mother has added intimidation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Sofia suffers from asthma, but the SIZO staff in Krasnodar refuses to conduct her medical examination. The "Rosfinmonitoring" (Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service) has included her into the list of extremists and terrorists.

Irina, Sofia's mother, said that her daughter was detained immediately after the search. According to the mother, her daughter has bronchial asthma and the pre-diabetes condition. All these diseases are confirmed by certificates, but judges disregard them.

Irina has noted that her daughter's arrest had surprised her. "I was told that this had to do with the terror act committed on January 27, 2023, in Jerusalem, although Israel never made any claims against her. Allegedly, Sofia had justified this terror act in her video clip. A few days before, she tried to enter Israel, but they were all kicked off the plane and not allowed into the country, and Sofia, according to her mother, was even hit on the head," Irina has explained, adding that the clip imputed to Sofia was posted in her social networks. Sofia, who positions herself as a magician and occultist, explained how "global curses" work and stated that she felt "gloating" because she managed to "break through the dome" of Israel's magical defence. She declared the need to return the Israeli territory to the ancient gods, and announced the need of her failed visit to Israel to be the desire to "cut off the root of all religions."

According to Irina, law enforcers threatened her. "The FSB agent asked if I wanted to 'follow in my grandfather's footsteps.' My grandfather was a famous person, but he was repressed, and although he was quickly rehabilitated, he died in a camp," she said.

While in custody, Sofia lost a lot of weight, her girlfriend has added. "She had bronchitis, a high temperature, nothing was treated, no medications were allowed to her," she has noted.
