Details of six cases against Stavropol resident about discrediting Russian Army disclosed

A court in the Stavropol Territory has imposed six fines of 30,000 roubles each on Vitaly Fedorenko, a local resident, treating his posts in the "VKontakte" social network as discrediting Russian militaries.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 13 and 14, the Shpakovsky District Court of the Stavropol Territory imposed fines on Fedorenko under six administrative cases of discrediting the Russian Army.

He was awarded fines in total of 180,000 roubles for his posts in the "VKontakte", in which he criticized the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, the human rights project "OVD-Info"* reports in its Telegram channel.

"He has explained to the court that the comments he left ... were his personal opinion and position. He believes that there is no offense in his actions," the project explains Vitaly's position.

However, the judges found Fedorenko guilty.
