After appeal in Rabadanov's support, Dagestani activist summoned to FSB
Isalmagomed Nabiev, who has signed an appeal in defence of the detained Ramazan Rabadanov, received a summons to the Dagestani branch of the Russian FSB (Federal Security Service). The activist saw this as a chance to convince law enforcers to objectively investigate the Rabadanov's case.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this November, 23 public figures, including Nabiev, signed an appeal to bosses of Dagestani law enforcement bodies with a request to ensure an objective investigation into Rabadanov's case, and release him from custody.
On November 6, Rabadanov was detained in Makhachkala for speaking out in defence of the defendants in the airport riot case. According to his version, someone approached him and planted a grenade into his jacket. Rabadanov was arrested for two months.
Let us remind you that on November 14, law enforcers tried to detain Denga Khalidov, an activist, who organized a round table in Rabadanov's defence. Other activists have treated the attempt to detain Khalidov as an intimidation element.
