Sargsyan: Armenia will not admit any encroachments on Nagorno-Karabakh

Armenia stands for peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict by negotiations, but at the same time it will not admit any encroachment on Nagorno-Karabakh and is ready to react to it in the toughest way possible. This was stated by President Serzh Sargsyan at the 12th congress of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, where he is the chairman.

"Armenia remains committed to principles of peaceful settlement. These basic principles have been and are our guidebooks. It's clear to everyone that conflict-settling is a rather complex process that can take years," said Mr Sargsyan.

At the same time, he has noted that the today's situation around settlement brings hope that "we'll be able to drive the process to its logic end within reasonable time."
