Two Russian servicemen wounded in Chechnya
A car with federal soldiers got blown up by an unknown explosive in the Groznenskiy District of Chechnya. Two of them were wounded, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
The fact became known from a source at the Military Commandant's Office of the Republic. The incident took place yesterday near Chechen-Aul village.
"Yesterday, a UAZ car with militaries from a regiment of the Ministry of Defence got blasted on a land mine in the vicinity of Chechen-Aul village. A self-made explosive (SME) was planted by unknown persons near the bridge across River Argun. An officer and a contract soldier suffered in the explosion. Both victims were hospitalized," the source added.
An investigation into the incident has been launched. The workers of law enforcement bodies of Chechnya are searching the persons involved in preparing and committing the action.
